PERFORMANCE
INTERNAL STUDIO RECITALS: Please note that the student’s participation in the annual studio recitals is as important as their participation in piano competitions, festivals, and the National Piano Guild Auditions. To these ends, Resonations Studio organizes 2 formal Recitals (with parents and guests in audience) are typically held in December and May at Schmitt Music. Expect written notification of the time and location of the annual recital in the months prior to the event.
EXTERNAL MUSIC FESTIVALS, COMPETITIONS, & INSTITUTIONAL EXAMINATIONS: CMTA & MTNA Recitals and piano competitions (Fall Recital, Period Music Competitions, Boys Recital, Achievement Day, Adult Recital), Clementi Festival, the National Piano Guild Auditions, the National Federation of Music Clubs, and local music festivals are some of the regular participatory events in this locale. You will be billed separately for each event that you choose to participate in. As preparation for participation in any of the above events could require an extra 15-30 minutes increase in lesson time, please notify the teacher of your interest in these activities well in advance in order to register, audition (if necessary), and prepare for the event.
