PERFORMANCE
INTERNAL STUDIO RECITALS: Please note that the student’s participation in annual studio recitals are as important as their participation in piano competitions, workshops, festivals, and exams. A formal “Recital” (with parents and guests in attendance) is held annually in Dec./May. Expect written notification of the time and location of these recital in the months prior to the events.
EXTERNAL MUSIC FESTIVALS, COMPETITIONS, & INSTITUTIONAL EXAMINATIONS:
Columbine Music Teachers’ Association events (Fall Recital, Celebration Series, Holiday on the Keys at SW Plaza Mall & Starbucks, Boys Recital, Achievement Day, Adult Recital), Music Teachers’ National Association competitions, the National Piano Guild Auditions & Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music certification, MTNA/Guild/Federation Composition competitions, & USA "AP Music Theory" and UK ABRSM Theory certification are some of the studio offerings.
*You will be billed separately for each event that you register to participate in through Resonations Studio and these fees will be sent to the events coordinator(s) on your behalf.
**As preparation for any of the above events could require an extra 15-30 minutes increase in lesson time, please notify the teacher of your interest in these activities well in advance in order to register, allot longer lessons, and audition (when necessary).
